Sherri Rottersman has been hailed as one of America's most outstanding
young classical guitarists. Her new CD features the last and final
work of the great Spanish composer,
Joaquin Rodrigo
, who wrote and dedicated this new work to her. The CD has been aired on
important classical music radio stations in the U.S., such as KDFC in San
Francisco and KUSC in Los Angeles. She has performed both in the
U.S. and Spain to tremendous enthusiasm. After appearing on a major TV
network in Madrid, the Spanish National Television proclaimed the
artist: "One of the great promising performers of classical music,
having great musical personality that cannot be compared with any
other artist of today." TV ESPANOLA Her unique artistry had previously attracted the attention of the legendary Andres Segovia, who, after choosing her for top honor in an international guitar competition in 1986, invited her to study privately with him during the last year of his life.
